Green Apple Day of Service

On the 25th of September the Community House participated in the Green Apple Day of Service.  On that day I went to the PACE Food Pantry with a group of classmates.  We cleaned and organized the food pantry.  We stopped at Memorial Park to clean-up trash.  Then we came back to the school to help other teachers and create posters for a food donation contest.  We had this day to help out the Community and make it a better place.

Helping out on this day made me feel happy because I knew that I was doing something to help.  I was excited because I got to hang out with my friends.  If I could do this again, I would because I made a difference and I was with my friends.

Egg Drop Reflection (Corrected)

Lucas D. and Hunter C.'s Egg Drop
We had a very interesting project in science!
In Science class, we had to make a contraption that would protect an egg when falling to the ground using specific materials. I think we should have to gotten better materials to use though.

Our drop was quite interesting!
Our highs were: Not much! Maybe that we actually got an idea I guess!
Our lows were: It spun like a football which made it go faster to its death and it just went splat on to the ground.

We could have fixed our design in quite a few ways!
We could have fixed it more but when we finally got an idea it was almost time to drop it. I learned that our design sped up the fall not decrease it!

Egg Drop Reflection

Lucas and my egg drop contraption didn't work. As the person dropped it, it kind of just spun and crashed to the ground. Our design wasn't the best. We could have fixed it in a lot of ways.

Mathography

Dear Miss Stehlik,
I like to be called, "Hunner" or "Hunter." I like to learn and play video games. I a also like science and math. When I grow up, I want to be a wealthy C.E.O.! I'm proud of what I know. I strive to know the most facts about things
I don't really like school. It just gets kind of boring. I am very good at math and science. I love to solve math problems, like square roots! It is fun. I don't have very good handwriting though. I don't like Com. Arts, i find it kind of boring, along with Social Studies. I do like reading though! I prefer Non-Fiction. I HATE homework!  I have things I would much rather be doing, and I forget about it. Its not that I'm not good at it, i just don't like it. I don't mind school assignments, as long as it doesn't become homework.
My favorite math topic is, and i mentioned this earlier, square roots. I also like multiplication, adding, and somewhat division. I don't really not like any math topic. I'm pretty good at all of them. I'm really excited about math this year!
Sincerely,
Hunter C. #6

7 th. Grade

7 th. Grade is going to be better than 6th. Grade! Hopefully! I like my teachers this year better! They are nicer and more fun! I'm not very happy about gym every day though. Are schedule is way different too. Why don't they keep them somewhat the same, I know that they need to change the schedule so we don't run into the 6th. Graders or the 8th. Graders but they don't need to change almost everything, it gets confusing.
